MD. AZIZUR RAHMANCHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER He is a graduate of Bachelor degree in Commerce and Masters of Commerce from the University of Rajshahi. He has more than 22 years of practical work experienced in microfinance and social development sectors in managerial and supervisory level. He started his career in microfinance by joining ASA, now one of the leading NGO Microfinance Institutions in Bangladesh. Mr. Rahman held various positions such as, Area Supervisor/Branch Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Cluster Manager and rose to the position of Assistant Director of Programs. His expertise are in program design, product development, financial model design for microfinance operations, planning, monitoring, financial ratio analysis and institutional assessment of microfinance programs. |
EUFRECINA T. DE JESUSPMPFI PRESIDENT & TRAINING & RESEARCH DIRECTOR She is a registered Social Worker and holds a degree in BS Social Work at Philippine Christian University where she was a Presidential Scholar. In 2003, she earned her Master degree in Entrepreneurship for Social Development Entrepreneurs (MESODEV) at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and received the highest award of Superior Performance. Ms. Zeny started her career in an NGO as Project Manager for eight years before working as a Community Social Worker in Saudi Arabia and Egypt for two years. Ms. Zeny was elected as Member of a local legislation unit and served for numerous terms while also being the Project Manager of Microfinance/NGO in Ermita, Manila for eight (8) years. Ms. Zeny is well-known in the microfinance industry as one of the Filipino microfinance practitioner who first used and embraced the ASA Methodology that originated from Bangladesh. She has attended numerous local and international conferences and training events, and throughout the years, was even invited as Speaker, Program Presenter and Facilitator in the Philippines, United Kingdom, California, France, Sweden, Cambodia, India and Thailand. At present, Ms. Zeny is designated as President of PAGASA ng Masang Pinoy Foundation, Inc. (PMPFI) an NGO which operates in the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Isabela, and affiliated with PAGASA Philippines Lending Company, Inc. and is given a special function as the Training and Research Director of the latter. |
GENARO L. KONGCHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER/SR. DIRECTOR He is a graduate from National College of Business Administration (NCBA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He finished his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree Major in Finance from De La Salle University (DLSU) Graduate School of Business. He started his career at Singer Sewing Machine Company and spent three years as Internal Auditor. He then moved to different multinational companies handling finance, audit, and accounting. Prior to joining PAGASA, Mr Kong worked as Financial Comptroller of Singer Philippines Inc., and moved to Singer Asia Retail Holdings based in Hong Kong as Corporate Audit Manager for one and a half year. |
JOSELITO FERNANDEZDEPUTY DIRECTOR, FINANCE & ACCOUNTS He has extensive work experience in accounting, finance and administration acquired from various industries notably, commodity futures trading, finance, banking, education, IT-enabled engineering and shared services. Prior to joining Pagasa, he worked with Odfjell Drilling Philippines Corp. in Makati City as Chief Financial Officer. A Certified Public Accountant and lawyer by profession, he graduated with bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City and Arellano University in Manila respectively. |
ATTY. REI ALESSANDRO DIAZLEGAL COUNSEL & CORPORATE SECRETARY He holds a Law degree (LLB) from Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) College of Law. He was admitted to the Bar on May 2008. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Beda College Manila. He started his law career prior to his admission to the bar as Legal Researcher/Legal Assistant with one of the more respectable law firms in Manila. Upon his admission to the bar in 2008, he immediately became an Associate Lawyer with the said law firm and has been in the practice of law ever since. In 2009, he was hired as the Corporate Affairs Officer/Legal Counsel of a real estate company in Makati City, and was tasked to perform legal and corporate functions. At present, he is currently the Corporate Secretary of PAGASA Philippines Lending Company, Inc. |
RAMON SANTOSADMIN MANAGER He holds a degree in Business Administration major in Accounting from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) in Intramuros, Manila. He has been in the finance and banking industry for more than 20 years and held positions in various companies: Senior Officer-In-Charge & Department Head in Philippine Savings Bank, Asst. Vice President in City State Savings Bank, Inc., Vice President and General Manager in Key Finance & Investment Corporation, 3 years in Microfinance and Sr. Asst. Vice President & Head of the Collection Department in The Real Bank Inc. for more than 5 years prior to his employment here in PAGASA. He used to be the Vice President/Director of Credit Management Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CMAP). He also serves as a lecturer /trainer and public speaker. His field of expertise include marketing and product development, banking and finance, sales and advertising and microfinance operation. |
