holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Geography at University of Chittagong, Bangladesh and completed his masteral degree at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He is a Microfinance Practitioner with more than twenty-two (22) years of experience. He started his career in ASA Bangladesh, held various positions from Area Chief, and rose to the position of Deputy Director of Program.
His area of expertise includes, among others, field operations, program and management monitoring, partnership and development program, disaster and delinquency management, conversion of microfinance program from group liability to individual liability approach and specialized in product, process and methodology designed for microfinance.
On June 2004, he was one of the Consultants of the UNDP- Micro Start Program in the Philippines, which ASA Bangladesh had been the lead International Technical Service Provider. For two years, on 2004-2006, he was assigned as Consultant for CARD-MRI, the largest Microfinance Institution in the Philippines.
Shortly after returning in Bangladesh after the completion of his consultancy, ASA International assigned him to establish and manage the Philippine operation of ASAI and on June 2007, Pagasa Philippines Lending Company, Inc. was established.
At present, he is the President/CEO of Pagasa Philippines Lending Company, Inc.
MD. AZIZUR RAHMAN
VICE PRESIDENT/DIRECTOR
a graduate of Bachelor degree in Commerce and Masters of Commerce at University of Rajshahi.
He has more than 22 years of practical work experienced in Microfinance and Social Development fields in managerial and supervisory level. He started his career in microfinance by joining ASA, now one of the leading NGO Microfinance Institutions in Bangladesh. Mr. Rahman held various positions such as, Area Supervisor/Branch Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Cluster Manager and rose to the position of Assistant Director on Program. His expertise are program design, product development, financial model design for microfinance operations, planning, monitoring, financial ratio analysis and institutional assessment of microfinance programs.
RAYHAN AHMED FAZLY RABBY
DIRECTOR / TREASURER
has more than fourteen (14) years of practical experience in microfinance operation and well versed in, among others, monitoring, assessment, fund management, staff recruitment, training and development, designing of new products and policy development as well as overall program implementation.
Prior to his assignment in the Philippine operation, he was deputed to India in 2003 and Sri Lanka in 2008.
A.K.M. AMINUR RASHID
DIRECTOR
holds a Master of Science in Dhaka, Bangladesh. On 1989 he started his career in a specialized microfinance bank in Bangladesh as its Senior Officer. On 1992 he joined ASA, a national non-government microfinance institution in Bangladesh and worked as its Director on Operation.He had various experience in working abroad such as; deputed from ASA as Technical Expert in Mexico, India and Indonesia; as a Team Leader in Nigeria for the Micro-Start Project of the UNDP (United Nations Development Program). He was likewise invited as a Consultant and Trainer in Laos, Cambodia and Tajikistan.
Mr. Rashid authored a publication entitled “How ASA Operates Profitability Serving the Poor” published by ASA on November 1998 and co-authored a book “Introduction to ASA Innovative and Sustainable Microfinance Model”
Before joining PPLCI, he was the Director on Program of ASA International, a private limited liability company for microfinance operating in Asia and Africa.
At present, he holds the position as Chief Coordinating Office at ASA International.

a globally recognized Microfinance Leader for more than thirty (30) years. He is the Founder and President of ASA Bangladesh which covers more than 5 million poor households through a sustainable program of providing cost-effective financial services.He was the Team Leader of the International Technical Service Providers of UNDP Micro-Start Program in the Philippines and Nigeria.Mr. Choudhury holds various positions aside from being one of the Directors of PPLCI, among others:
