ASA International has formed Grievance Mitigation Committees (GMC) at entity (Pagasa) and holding levels with an effective structure to mitigate employee grievances and bring enthusiasm to the management.
GMC functions to:
- prevent unjustified and unauthorized decisions of the management at all levels;
- ensure desired behavior by the senior staffs, safeguarding the junior staffs from irrational treatment, and
- establish a system of justice through appeal
Appeal Procedures
If any Pagasa employee is not satisfied with the higher authority’s decision and judgment, then the staff is encouraged to take the following steps:
- The employee must lodge his/her complain to his/her respective immediate supervisor / higher authority.
- If the employee feels his/her complain was not justly decided on, s/he can then lodge an appeal to the Grievance Mitigation Committee (GMC) Head (gmc.pplci@asa-international.com.ph) with supporting evidence and documents.
Direct Complaints
Aside from lodging an appeal, a direct complaint can be lodged with proper evidence to ASAI’s GMC (grievance.mitigation@asa-international.com) for serious offenses like sexual harassment.
